A little about me 🙃
Hi there! I'm currently working as a Product Design Specialist at Fjord (Design and Innovation from Accenture Interactive), based in the heart of Dubai, with over four years of experience.
I am a passionate design learner, practitioner and writer, driven by a strong belief that the foundation of every product and service has to revolve around user convenience and delight.
I focus on learning from and improving digital touchpoints with an ever-evolving design process through collaborative endeavours.
Please feel free to reach out!

What I Do

Experience Designer
A Gentle-designer with over 5 years of experience in the design industry, including 4+ years specifically as a UX/UI designer. Working in a service design agency has allowed me to gain experience in various industries. In the past two years, I have had the pleasure of leading a team of eight designers from UAE, KSA, Italy, Poland and India, focusing on delivering a comprehensive solution with the users at the centre and consistency as the key ingredients.

Artist
I have been an ardent fan of the abstract. I deeply enjoy exploring the impossible and unlocking the unexplainable ideas trapped in our minds using art as a medium of expression. My favourite media are pen & paper and digital.

Writer
I am a writing contributor to UX Planet and UX Design Bootcamp. I have recently realised the importance of expressing and sharing our thoughts, processes and ideas with the larger community. By communicating our thoughts, we help to learn from and build on each other's experiences.

Travel enthusiast
Exploring with awe, encountering new cultures, embracing nature and appreciating local cuisines have always been my side passion. Seeing the world with a fresh pair of eyes has helped me develop my unique perspectives, enjoy the details and learn from any kind of experience.
My Philosophy
Innovation by mixing the dreamers and the realists
Living experiences over stagnant mindsets
Learning to improve upon the existing
A dreamer mindset alone is free-spirited and exploratory and the best in coming up with new, exciting and bizarre ideas. On the other hand, a realist mindset pursues logically sound concepts. By combining these two mindsets created through enhanced work culture, we become efficient in the discovery of innovative ideas.
As designers, our goal is not just to deliver user-centred products. However, it is also about identifying how our product can echo the evolving culture and social principles such as diversity, inclusivity, equality, and more. Moreover, it is about building a system of evolution that allows a product to change and stay relevant to the time and collective mindsets.
It is essential for design thinkers to follow a process through the research to delivery phases. However, it is important to necessary that every idea, concept or teachings have room for growth. It is vital to have an experimental mindset and an accepting culture to try something new, fail, learn from it and try something new again.
